Beacom and Randy Houk
presented the colors along with 59 other color guards at the Spreckels
Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. Will
Tisch is the color guard commander. The color guards
represented each branch
of the military along with veterans groups, historic re-enactment
groups, scouts and ROTC squads.
The San Diego chapter of the Military Order of World Wars sponsors the
event, which has been held since 1954.
